    if you lack motivation to do the things that would normally bring you joy;

    Please remember that if you are in an emergency and need immediate help, you should always call 995 (Singapore Civil Defence Emergency Ambulance) or go to the A&E department of your nearest hospital. • Yes, if you would like to speak to a therapist prior to your session, please contact us and let us know.

  • Both in person and online therapy have advantages and disadvantages. To name a few, in person therapy allows for a more integrated relationship between client and therapist, but it is more time consuming as the commute time needs to be added to the therapy time. Online therapy is more convenient, but requires you to be able to find a space where your privacy will be respected. Depending on your situation one option might be better than the other, or you can also opt for an hybrid option. If you are still undecided, feel free to discuss it with us.

  • In the first session your therapist will firstly walk you through the administrative aspects of therapy: session duration, cancellation policy, confidentiality and its limitations, privacy, boundaries, etc. The therapist will also ask you if you have been in therapy before and how that experience was for you. They will illustrate their therapeutic approach and modalities. They will also ask you what your expectations are and answer any questions you may have. The reminder of the session will be exploratory: the therapist will ask you what has brought you to therapy and will ask you other questions that will help to frame the issue, clarify the goals of therapy and help the therapist make a plan of to reach such goals together.

  • No, anything that is discussed during your therapy sessions will remain confidential. However, there are some limitations to confidentiality, your therapist will walk you through them in your first session.

  • Each counselling session is scheduled to be 50 mins. Additional charges in blocks of 30 mins shall apply if extended.

  • There is no straight answer to this question. The length and effectiveness of your therapeutic path depends on a number of factor like the nature of the issue(s) to be addressed, your commitment to change, your support network, etc. Some people come to therapy for short periods of time to address specific and circumscribed issues. Other people stay in therapy for a few years.

  • No, there is no minimum commitment. However, your therapist will need from 2 to 4 sessions to be able to frame the issue(s) and make a plan with you. Subsequent sessions will be dedicated to empowering and supporting you in dealing with such issue(s).

  • We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for a change of appointment or cancellation of appointment. Failure to do so will result in the session being charged
